Dr. Wasiq Khan, Liverpool John Moores University, UK (IEEE member) Brief Introduction:Dr. Wasiq KHAN is a Senior Academic (SMIEEE) in Artificial Intelligence & Data Sciences within the Department of Computer Science at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. He has also been serving as a Visiting Professor of Artificial Intelligence (University of Anbar, Iraq). Wasiq received his B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Geography following an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Pakistan. At Bradford University UK, He received an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence for Board Games following by a Ph.D. in Speech Analysis & Intelligent Reasoning and a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (PGCHEP). Wasiq has been leading several large-scale research projects as Senior Research Scientist and Senior Consultant in collaborations with Academic Institutions and Industry across the globe. Currently, Wasiq is leading on several ongoing research projects mostly covering Applied AI and Data science in diverse domains including: National Security (e.g., suspect identification, deep behaviour analysis), Deep facial analysis (e.g., deception detection, mental health), Smart environments (e.g., deep vision for blind people mobility aid), and Healthcare technologies (e.g., Huntington disease, autism patterns etc.). Wasiq has been publishing the research outcomes in high impact Journals and international conferences. He has been active in public engagements and impact raising activities such as news blogs & media, scientific festivals, scientific show cases, and public demonstrations. He is an active reviewer for top-ranked Journals (e.g., IEEE Trans, Elsevier, Springer etc.) and government funding bodies (e.g., EPSRC, STFC, UKRI and NIHR). Along with his research activities, Wasiq is fully involved in teaching, administrative roles and Ph.D supervisions. Wasiq has established academic citizenship within his research domain along with his Fellowship of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). |

Dr. Pavel Loskot, ZJU-UIUC Institute, China (IEEE Member) Brief Introduction: Dr. Pavel Loskot obtained BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering and MSc degree in Radioelectronics from the Czech Technical University of Prague, Czech Republic. He was then Research Scientist and Project Manager in the Centre for Wireless Communications at the University of Oulu, Finland before moving to Canada to earn the PhD degree in Wireless Communications from the University of Alberta. Since 2007, he was a Senior Lecturer in Engineering at Swansea University, UK. He is the Senior Member of the IEEE, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK, and the Recognized Research Supervisor of the UK Council for Graduate Education. His current research interests lie in applications of statistical signal processing methods to problems in telecommunication engineering and computational molecular biology. |
Prof, Maode Ma, Qatar University, Qatar (IEEE Member / ACM Singapore Chapter Chair) Brief Introduction: Maode Ma, A Fellow of IET, received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1999. Now, Prof. Ma is a Research Professor in the College of Engineering at Qatar University in Qatar. Before joining Qatar University, he has been a faculty member at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for over 20 years. He has led 26 research projects funded by the government, industry, military, and universities in various countries. He has supervised 24 research students to get their Ph. D degrees. He has been a conference chair, technical symposium chair, tutorial chair, publication chair, publicity chair, and session chair for over 100 international conferences. He has been a member of the technical program committees for more than 300 international conferences. Prof. Ma has about 500 international academic publications including over 250 journal papers and about 250 conference papers. He has edited a few technical books and produced over 28 book chapters. His publication has received close to 10,000 citations in Google Scholar. He has delivered over 90 keynote speeches and 11 tutorials at various international conferences. Prof. Ma currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Computer and Communication Engineering and the Journal of Communications. He also serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, and an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing and the International Journal of Communication Systems. Prof. Ma is a senior member of the IEEE Communication Society and a member of ACM. He is now the Chair of the ACM, Singapore Chapter. He has been a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Communication Society in 2013-2016 and 2023-2024. |

She is the Website Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Big Data STC, the Executive Committee of the China Computer Federation (CCF) on Pervasive Computing, the Communication Committee of the Chinese Institute of Electronics' Youth Professional Technical Committee of the Internet of Things, etc. She received 2023 Best Researcher Award, International Young Scientist Awards, ScienceFather. She is a Guest Editor or Reviewer for over 60 SCI journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Systems Journal, etc. She is a Technical Program Committee, Program Committee for over 10 international conferences, such as EIIE, ISHCI, ICMIC, ISAIR, ICBSB, ICPMS, etc. She served as a keynote speaker of ICPHMS 2021, EEIE2022, ICITBT 2022, etc. As a first or corresponding author, she has published over 40 prestigious conference and journal articles. |
